Legal notice and privacy

This site (trenes.valfiguer.com) is a free, non-profit service of 3XA ECOM LLC, operating under the trade name Valfiguer, with its registered address at 407 Lincoln Rd STE 708, Miami Beach, FL 33139 (USA). Contact: info@valfiguer.com.

The information comes from third-party public sources (Renfe Data, FGC and MovEuskadi, CC BY 4.0) and is shown as received, with the corrections noted in each case. It may arrive late, be incomplete or contain errors. It is provided without any guarantee of accuracy, completeness or availability, and it does not replace the official information of Renfe, Adif or any operator.

It is not a safety system and must not be used to make decisions that affect the safety of people or property. In an emergency, call 112.

This service has no connection with Renfe, Adif or any railway operator. Their names are used only to identify the source of the data.

• There is no advertising. You do not need to register to use the map.
• Visit measurement (optional). Only if you accept in the notice, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to count visits and learn which parts are used: page views, whether you open a train, a station or a line, whether you use the installed app, and technical browser data and approximate location (country or city). We do not send your email, your account or what you type in the search box, and advertising signals are always switched off. Google stores the cookies _ga and _ga_* for up to 2 years and may process data outside the EU under the safeguards of its standard contractual clauses. The legal basis is your consent; your choice is stored for 6 months in the technical cookie trenes_consent. If you say no, Google receives nothing and everything works the same. You can change your mind at any time: change your cookie preference. Nothing is measured on maps and widgets embedded in other websites or in the station panel.
• Your browser keeps in its local storage whether you have already closed the initial notice, the theme you chose and your favourites. Without an account, none of that leaves your device.
• Account (optional). If you sign in with your email, Google or GitHub, access is handled by Valfiguer's single sign-on (api.valfiguer.com), the same one used by Valfiguer's other websites. Two technical session cookies are stored, vf_access and vf_session, needed to keep you signed in; they are not used for anything else. We store your list of favourites linked to your account identifier so that it can be synchronised across devices. The legal basis is your consent when you sign in; you can delete your favourites from Your account and ask for your account to be closed by writing to info@valfiguer.com.
• Alerts for a train (optional). If you press “Notify me”, your browser creates a notification address (managed by your browser's push service: Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft) and sends it to us along with the train number and the days you chose. We store only that, with no account and no IP address, in order to send you the alerts; it is deleted when the journey ends (or after 60 days if you choose Monday to Friday) or when you press “Remove alerts”. Alerts depend on Renfe's data and may arrive late or not at all.
• “I'm on this train” (with an account). If you report how a train is going, we store your answers (crowding, whether it is stopped or moving, and the air conditioning, always from fixed options, with no free text), the train, the time and an encrypted identifier derived from your account that does not allow it to be identified. They are used only to show the anonymous count to other passengers and are deleted after 45 minutes.
• The location button uses your browser's geolocation only if you press it and give permission; your position is used to centre the map on your device and is not sent to our server.
• Like any web server, ours technically records the IP address, the date and the page requested, for the security and operation of the service, for the time strictly necessary for those purposes.
• Maps are loaded from OpenFreeMap (OpenStreetMap tiles) and the typefaces are served from our own domain.
